Our Process

A landscape and hardscape project involves planning, designing, and implementing outdoor spaces that may include elements such as plants, pathways, walls, patios, and other structures. Here are the general steps for a landscape and hardscape project:

Define Your Goals and Budget

Identify the purpose of your outdoor space.
Determine your budget for the project and call us. We can also help you to evaluate alternatives.

Site Analysis

Assess the existing conditions of the site, including soil characteristics, drainage, sunlight, and existing vegetation.

MEASUREMENTS Conceptual Design

We develop a rough sketch or concept that outlines the basic layout and features you want in your outdoor space. In this phase you will get all details about square footage, alternative design options and total project cost.

Hire Professionals for design

If needed, we help you to hire a landscape architect or designer to help with the detailed planning and design of the project.

Detailed Design and contract sign

After creating a detailed plan that includes the placement of hardscape elements, wooded structures, plants, and lighting final steps in this phase contract signing.
We will provide you information about alternative materials to use for hardscape features, such as paving stone, base material, or wall stones.

Select Materials and Plants

We help you to choose right materials for hardscape elements and select plants that are suitable for Canadian climate and soil conditions.

Site Preparation

Excavation

Excavation of installation area to 6″-12” below the finished grade, depending on the use of pavers and the soil conditions. In our project pavers are for only pedestrian traffic, we will dig 6″ below the finished grade.

Gravel Base & Compaction
We prepare the first base using 3/4″ gravel. This can be either 3/4″ crushed stone or a 3/4″ recycled concrete product. Both products allow for adequate compaction and drainage —we will compact your gravel base with a vibrating plate compactor.

Bedding Material (HPB) & Compaction
Once your gravel base is adequately graded and compacted, the last step before paver installation is bedding material. For this, we will lay 1′ of washed HPB.
HPB (High Performance Bedding) is the name given to a material which is pea-sized, angular washed limestone. It provides excellent drainage and requires less effort to compact. It is one of the more favored bedding choices because it packs well and holds up fantastically.

Hardscape Installation

In this phase we have a stable, graded base, we are now ready to begin your installation and construct any hardscape elements such as pathways, patios, walls, or other structures.

After installation completed, we use polymeric sand to fill joints.
Using the proper paver base material and installation approach is critical for a vital paver installation. We follow all industry standards in every stages.
During installation process we follow industry standards and modern construction techniques and we use high-quality materials.

Enjoy your backyard!
