Wasaga Beach Town Hardscaping Project Interlock, Pool & Fire Pit

This Wasaga Beach property was completed over two carefully planned phases, transforming a large estate into a cohesive, functional outdoor living environment. The focus was on high-end hardscaping, seamless transitions between levels, and durable materials that complement the home’s architecture and expansive surroundings. Each phase was designed to work independently while contributing to a unified final result.

Design & Construction

The project was executed in two phases to allow precise planning and efficient construction across the property.

Phase one focused on the backyard living areas, including expansive interlock surfaces surrounding the pool, a dedicated fire pit zone, and wide walkways connecting the home to outdoor gathering spaces. Special attention was given to clean lines, consistent paver patterns, and proper grading to support drainage and long-term performance.

Phase two addressed the front and side areas of the property, including the entrance hardscape, driveway base installation, and retaining walls used to manage grade changes around the home. The deck structure was carefully integrated with the surrounding interlock, ensuring smooth transitions between elevated and ground-level spaces.

Throughout both phases, precision installation methods and properly compacted base materials were used to ensure durability and visual consistency across all hardscape elements.

Final Result

The completed project delivers a fully integrated outdoor environment that balances scale, function, and visual impact. Large interlock surfaces provide generous space for entertaining, while the pool and fire pit areas create distinct zones within the landscape. Retaining walls and walkways guide movement across the property, and the deck integration ties the entire design back to the home itself.

The result is a refined, long-lasting hardscape solution that enhances both the usability and value of the property while maintaining a clean, timeless appearance.

Have a question?

Find clear answers to common questions about interlocking, hardscaping, timelines, materials, and what to expect during your project.

Yes — our estimates are 100% free and no-obligation. We provide an on-site assessment, discuss design ideas, review material options, explain timelines, and give you a clear, detailed quote with no hidden costs. Our goal is to help you make an informed decision with zero pressure.

In most cases, permits are not required for interlocking, patios, walkways, or landscaping—as long as the work follows city bylaws, zoning limits, and building codes and is non-structural.

Permits are typically required for decks, sheds, or other structural builds. Rules can vary by city. For detailed and accurate information, we always recommend contacting us directly so we can review your project and local regulations.

We provide a 3-Year Workmanship Warranty on our installation. All materials come with a manufacturer’s lifetime warranty (terms vary by product). We’ll explain warranty coverage clearly before the project starts.

Excavation depth depends on the project type and soil conditions, but we always follow industry standards. Driveways require deeper excavation than walkways or patios to support vehicle weight. Every project is built on a properly compacted base to prevent shifting, sinking, or frost damage.

Proper slope is critical. We design every surface with the correct grading and pitch so water drains away from your home and does not pool. Standing water is prevented through correct base preparation, slope calculation, and installation techniques.

Yes. We use high-quality granular base materials suitable for Canadian climates, followed by professional-grade polymeric sand between pavers. This helps lock the stones in place, reduces weed growth, and improves long-term durability.

We recommend using ice melt products designed for interlocking pavers, not regular salt. Regular salt can damage the surface over time. With proper care—basic cleaning, re-sanding when needed, and correct ice melt—your interlocking will last for many years.

Absolutely. We work with professional designers and solution providers to help plan layouts, choose materials, and create functional, visually appealing outdoor spaces tailored to your property.

Yes. All standard interlocking and hardscape materials we use are Made in Canada, ensuring quality and suitability for our climate. Natural stone products may be sourced internationally.
